WANING WINDOW SCONCE
These lights combine the natural beauty and translucency of raw selenite slabs with delicate brass accents. Each piece is unique and natural variations depend on the stone slabs. The piece works as both a sculpture or a lamp as it is as beautiful unlit as it is illuminated.
Selenite formed over millions of years ago, and is the accumulation of mineral that remained at the bottom of ancient bodies of water after they evaporated. Selenite, which means “Moon“ in Greek is all about illumination, balance, harmony and peace. It has earned the moniker of “stone of reconciliation.” as its healing encompasses the light of understanding or “seeing” the perspective of others and respecting that perspective.
Native Americans used selenite slabs as windows to their homes.
